Most of you are wearing the wrong bra size. 8 out of 10 of you to be specific. Have you heard that stat before? Nonetheless it’s true. Over 80% of women are wearing the wrong size and it’s not your fault. Our bodies change all the time, different brands fit differently, different shops measure differently. We all lead busy lives and getting a new breast measurement is rarely at the top of our to do list but it should be because there are consequences to wearing the wrong sized bra.
Where do you even go to find out the truth?
The mall? Think again. There are very few places in there that will measure and fit you properly. This is going to sound very self serving but it’s not meant to be. Local, independent lingerie boutiques specialize in bra fitting. They carry many different styles and brands and it’s where you are most likely going to find your true size and get the best fit.

In 2011 we began our quest to offer women a proper fitting. Since then thousands of women have received a free professional bra fitting at Belle Lacet Lingerie and we have made a difference. Comparatively when we opened our shop the statistic was 85-100% of women were wearing the wrong size. While we can’t take credit for the decrease in the national average we can be proud that we’ve done our best to help get the word out and improve the health and wellness of women in our community.

Visit one of our shops and tell us your size. We will take a measurement and see if you are correct; This can be done with your top on or off but no cheating! If you are already a Belle Lacet customer than you already know your size. Some of you will be spot on and we will be happy to reward you with a free gift, a big smile and maybe even a high-five for taking good care of yourself.
